8/28/00: Toothless Ted
Ok, here it is, Paul,
My twin and I were almost 13 years old. At our cousins youth group we went to they threw us a little party, with cake and balloons and stuff and we had a nice time, I even met a boy!!! Tim, he was nice, a little taller then me but not too much and he was not just cute but handsome to me. I felt so lucky to meet someone in church, or a part of church that liked me, and so we exchanged numbers, and soon later Teri and I went home.
At home we had a babysitter, He’s an older guy name Ted and he had no teeth and that’s where his nickname came from, I think that he made it up.
This was one cool guy, he let me smoke cigg. and drink beer and stuff, and did I did! Then when I went to make brownies so me and Teri could blow out some candles again for the fun of it, I felt a little dizzy and I passed out.. I don’t even remember that much at all, except that I must have fallen or something and next thing I know, Ted was knocking on my foreheadthen helping me get up. And Teri was three laughing and stuff and telling me how Ted went out of my moms bedroom window to get on the roof and look for me, he said even though he was afraid of heights he did that for me, I know that it was my fault, but he shouldn’t have watched us and he should have been sober himself anyway and not let me drink his beer his nasty alcohol. I know, I am the one that drank it, but still! Well, Talk to you soon, I need to get off of here. Take Care! Mary
